What is the reason for the low water pressure of the High-Pressure Pump?

1. Gravity

Gravity drives or slows down the flow of water. The higher the altitude where the water must be transported, the lower the water pressure. Not to mention, a gallon of water weighs more than 8 pounds. If the water moves up or up to several floors, gravity will send it back immediately. Buildings below the water source may not experience the same problem. Skyscrapers, apartment buildings, multi-story houses, and businesses need a large booster pump to move water upward.

2. The distance to the water source

The distance to the water source and the size of the water pipe will affect the water pressure. If your home or business is at the end of a water supply line, the flow of water to you may be low. In addition, if your water pipe is too small, a small amount of water will flow through your fixture.

3. Low urban water pressure

Your house may be under the water supply pipe, your pipe may be unobstructed, and your water pressure is still low. Sometimes low water flow is caused by low-pressure water from local waterworks.

4. Additional water system

An additional water treatment system or other water equipment in your home can bring you freshwater, but it may reduce your water pressure. The water pressure can be restored by installing a booster pump.

5. Pipeline issues

If the low water pressure is the result of gravity, transportation, or other systems, a water pressure booster may solve the problem. However, other times, plumbing problems may be the cause. Before buying a water pressure booster, please check your pipeline. The pipeline may be blocked, or the pressure-reducing valve may need to be adjusted.
